At the helm of Tawai running the show is Luke, our crazy talented director. Luke is always seen scribbling out ideas all over the place, creating storyboards and layouts, and is generally in charge of keeping the inspiration flowing.

​Lewis is not only an excellent animator, he’s also our Blender and editing maestro. He’s a collector of old school tech, has a huge passion for all forms of animation, and is always jamming a groovy set of tunes in his headphones.

Sam’s our industry diamond with several years of experience on notable anime and TV shows all over the world. His background of many years as an animation tutor brings a great learning atmosphere to the studio that we all appreciate like gold.

As the most stylishly dressed animator in the office, Magda brings excellent vibes to whatever Tawai is cooking up. Aside from Luke, they’ve been at Tawai the longest and are speedy at basically any creative endeavour they pursue, in and outside of the studio.

As first and foremost an illustrator, Emily brings a unique set of skills to Tawai. Colours, Backgrounds, and all the things aside from making the pictures actually move? Emily’s got you. Outside the studio she’s an enjoyer of all things videogames, anime, and funky DJ beats.

As our resident musician, Kodi listens to our insane ideas and takes them ten steps further to create an auditory bonanza. Without Kodi’s skill of taming a whole orchestra, we’d be tooting five kazoos into a microphone.
